The Legendary At Bat

It all started out on one sunny day when we were up at the corral giving cows vaccinations. Well, I had been up there working for about an hour or so when I got stung by two wasps right on the hand,so I got in the mule and drove home. I had told my mom and she said to put some ice on it and I got some medicine out of the drawer. The next thing I knew it was time for the baseball game and my hand was twice its original size,so “I guess you could say I was having a bad day”.

When we arrived at the baseball fields coach had told me that I was pitching that game ,so I took the mound and started pitching.I had pitched a great first inning struck two out and one was hit to shortstop. I looked up and it was already the fourth inning, and it was my turn to bat.

I stepped up to the plate it was 14 to 5 if I scored we would have been League champions. The pitcher winded up and threw the pitch right by me strike one the blew called out. Once again the pitcher winded up and threw the pitch ‘DING’ the bat said I looked up and that ball was going somewhere. My dad was on first and he said, “bye bye baseball. The crowd went wild and I was smiling from ear to ear.

The game was over and I walked over to car and my family congratulated me on my homerun. We went to my favorite restaurant Pizza Hut and we ate till all our tummies were full. After that we went home, but I learned something that day there’s always good in the bad you just have to look past the bad the bad things to see the good things.

Keep Fighting

For all those people out their who are are going threw hard times right now keep fighting.

I know it’s tough but keep fighting.

Because at the end of the day that’s all that matters so keep fighting.

Because one day you’ll rise.

So just keep fighting.

Touch is a Great Thing

Out of all the wonderful senses their are mine would haft to be touch. To all those sports players out their you wouldn’t be able to play . That would be horrible for me because I love sports. You also wouldn’t be able to give somebody a high five or even a hand shake.

I don’t think I could live without the sense of touch. I would miss a lot of our world today and so would you. I would miss the outdoors the feel of animals and a hole bunch of other stuff to.This is why my favorite sense is touch.

Texas Rangers

Out of all the wonderful heroes there are mine would haft to be Michael Young yes Michael Young the famous baseball player, I know most people wouldn’t think of a baseball player being a hero, but he is mine. The reason for me choosing Michael Young is because he’s a great leader.Michael Young has lead the Texas rangers through winning seasons and losing seasons.Michael Young made some tough decisions like never to do drugs or to get tattoos. And all these years guess what he’s still lived just because he said no to those things it isn’t going to hurt him.

Michael young has always been a Christian man and always followed the ways of the lord. And through the years he has shown that.He has lead his team through Christ every game lose or win they praise him.One of the things that’s makes me want to follow him is he’s always happy.Michael young always puts people before himself, even if they took his spot on the field and that is a great thing about him.He really never gets into trouble he’s a very good man and that’s why he’s my hero.

Not only is Young a hero on the baseball field but of the field he replenishes baseball fields and is involved in the wipe out kids cancer campaign. In 2006 young started the Young heroes scholarship program, so I could defiantly say that Young is a hero in my book.Heroes don’t haft to be someone who saves the world it can be your Dad,Mom or your siblings.I will always follow in Michael Young’s footsteps and really hope that you can find a hero as good as mine.Don’t spend your time looking for something that’s already there.

Remember The Wild

Remember The Wild

As I sat in the Wild
Listening Wondering
I could see the Squirrels running and jumping
The birds chirping and flying

The nice cool Breeze
rubbing up against me
All the trees shaking in the wind
The leaves being carried off far
A I could see
The only thing that came to me
Was what a wonderful sight

The swish swoosh of the creek
Beautiful I said to myself
Looking at the Great Creatures it possessed
I thought how cool it would be if I
Could be one of the creatures like these

The feeling I had off leaving was unbearable
I could only hope that I would return to this great place
I will always remember
THE WILD

Some Fun Under The Sun

When Mason and arrived at my house that night. we talked about how we couldn’t wait to get to get to the beach. We showed each other the swim trunks we had gotten for the beach mine were angry birds we laughed.Mason said “He was going to ride the biggest wave”, I said, “We’ll see about that”we ate our dinner played some Xbox and went to sleep.

”Beep Beep Beep” the alarm clock cried out.We jumped out bed ran to the kitchen and ate some pop tarts. After breakfast we through everything in the car.Mason said,”I’m ready to leave,”I said,”me too”when we woke up form are nap in the car we were almost in Mississippi. We stopped for lunch after the loud growling of our stomachs. We arrived at the at the hotel at 4:00 pm we too are rooms and unpacked our stuff.we got a quick snack “yum that was good”,I said.

Mason and I put our swim trunks on and ran to the pool only to see the great big water slides.”A lazy river to” I said so we dove into the cold water it felt so good as we completely submerged under the water. We quickly jumped out of the pool and ran up the stairs to the water slides. The first thing we did was go head first on our backs twisting and turning down the slide only to dumped off into the cold water. We headed back up to the room to take a shower and get ready for bed.

As the sun rose up Mason and I were sound asleep. But as the room got filled with with the wonderful smells of Bacon,Eggs and Cinnamon Rolls we jumped out of bed.And made a mad yard dash for the kitchen. When we got there we ate and got ready for the beach. We arrived at the beach the waves were really big,so we ran out into the water to start our boogie boarding competition. After are great competition of mad boogie boarding skills.I think Mason came out with the win.As we were walking along beach we got ambushed by our cousins they through endless sand bombs at us so we returned fire and pelting them we sand bombs after the war they surrendered and we won. When we left the Beach my dad said “All fun most come to an end”, we knew wait he meant. When we got back to the hotel we took a shower and got ready for bed.

The next morning we woke packed our stuff up and left.In the car we talked about how we would always miss that beach. We stopped to fill our bellies at Olive Garden that was always good place to stop. After we ate at Olive Garden we took of for the long journey back home.
